Canon Details	After Cursed Child ended, he finished school (did badly in everything but potions) and started to work not for the Ministry, but for a small potions shop. He uses Severus Snape's old recipes and also builds his own. He's a prodigy at potions and he wants everyone to know he doesn't suck at it, actually.
